What is Russian Godlen Visa?
The Russian "Golden Visa," officially known as the Investor Visa, was introduced in January 2023. It provides foreign investors and their families a direct path to permanent residency (PRP) in Russia, skipping the usual temporary residence (TRP) stage.

Application Procedure
The Temporary Residence Permit (TRP) in Russia can be obtained within 2-3 months
Apply for a visa to Russia
An application for an ordinary visa can be submitted in any Embassy of Russian Federation.
Prepare the documents
To ensure a smooth immigration procedure in Russia, collect the necessary documents.
Fly to Russia
Once your 90-days visa is ready, enter Russia with the set of required documents.

Register with migration authorities, obtain residential address, do medical tests and apply for the TPR.

Pathway to Russian Citizenship
Shared Values Visa
The Temporary Residence Permit is issued for one year and can be extended twice (total 3 years).
It is required to spend at least 183 days in Russia to renew the TRP.
After 3 years the TRP must be converted into the Permanent Residency (the Russian language and history test is required).

Applicants for the Russian Permanent Residency must pass the Russian language and history to obtain the PR.
The application for the PR can be filed after 8 months of living in Russia with the Temporary Residence Permit.
